Prior to his retirement from public accounting, Pete had over 40 years of public accounting experience in providing advisory, assurance and tax services to manufacturing, distribution, technology and early stage companies with industry expertise in Manufacturing & Distribution, Technology and Emerging Companies. Later in his carrier Pete worked exclusively with Private Equity, Family Offices and Family Owned Businesses providing transaction and advisory services which included but not limited to pre transaction consulting, transaction due diligence, and post-merger financial integration.

Pete was a co-founder, in 2013, of the Dona Jo Brand, an online retailer of women’s sportwear with operations in the U.S. and Brazil along with his daughter and son-in-law and serves as the Company’s fractional CFO and Board Member.

Charles Gounaris is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in organizational design and transformation. He specializes in aligning organizational structures with strategic objectives to enhance efficiency and drive growth. His leadership roles at EDS, GPU, IBM Global Services, and NOVA Chemicals have equipped him with a deep understanding of corporate strategy, change management, and business transformation. Currently, he serves as a Master Chair with Vistage International and a Senior Partner at Synergistics Systems HC, a Predictive Index company, where he continues to apply his expertise in organizational design to help businesses achieve their goals.

In an industry increasingly driven by automation and machine learning, he excelled, ultimately managing a $30+ million budget for Education Management Corporation. Patrick then took his passion for creating value to product development, implementing lean methodology at a technology startup that focused on using data to drive efficient sales enablement.

His drive for efficiency, performance, and continuous improvement led him to join agency founder Thomas Donohoe in 2012 to oversee Level’s operations and strategic direction - eventually purchasing the company in 2021 with his partner, Patrick Van Gorder.
